Victoria Ward is a painter, writer and multi-media artist. She was a playwright and performed in the nineties in Toronto's alternative theatre scene. Since 1998 she has been painting with exhibitions across the country. In 2011 Victoria spent a month in Yorkshire England at an arts residency. a little red isn't a departure from her current work but in fact a return/lateral move to her theatrical roots. Victoria also writes a weekly blog State of the Arts and is a regular contributor to Trout in Plaid. She lives in the woods, in a log cabin with painter Gary Blundell.
